Released in 2018 the Mimic mirror by Jean-François Dingjian & Eloi Chafaï, a.k.a Normal Studio, is the first collaboration between the Danish label Muuto and the French designer duo. The original template was provided by the interior of typical Paris hairdressing salons – specifically the plain plastic mirrors found therein. Together with Muuto, Normal Studio created a Scandinavian-simple mirror with a French touch.
